Dog - The Trakxx Foundation - Grants

At The Trakxx Foundation, we are dedicated to supporting and enhancing the well-being of dogs in shelters. To achieve this mission, we are considering grant applications from shelters and organizations that align with our values and priorities.

Below is our wish list, outlining the areas and initiatives we are particularly interested in funding:

  • Adoption and Rehabilitation Programs: Grants to support shelters that focus on the rescue, rehabilitation, and successful adoption of dogs with special needs, including medical conditions, behavioral challenges, and senior dogs.
  • Spay/Neuter and Preventative Care: Funding for spay/neuter programs, vaccination initiatives, and general preventative healthcare for dogs in shelters to reduce overpopulation and improve overall health.
  • Shelter Infrastructure and Improvements: Support for capital projects aimed at improving shelter facilities, creating more comfortable environments, and enhancing safety for both dogs and shelter staff.
  • Education and Outreach: Funding for public awareness campaigns, workshops, and educational materials that promote responsible pet ownership, dog welfare, and shelter support.
  • Innovative Technology and Adoption Platforms: Grants to shelters that are exploring innovative technology and online adoption platforms to connect dogs with potential adopters more effectively.
  • Emergency and Disaster Response: Support for shelters that play a critical role in urgent relief for dogs in crisis situations.
  • Collaborative Initiatives: Grants for collaborative projects between shelters, rescue organizations, and local communities that aim to improve the collective impact on dog welfare.
  • Pet Cancer Research: Grants supporting research into Pet Cancer that improve the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer in dogs.
  • Nurturing Local Initiatives: Support for shelters that are active in their local communities and making a substantial impact on dog welfare in their regions.
  • Senior Pet Welfare: Support for shelters that are advocates for senior pets and offering “Fospice” opportunities.

The Trakxx Foundation welcomes applications from shelters and other organizations that align with these priorities. We encourage innovative and creative approaches. All applicants must demonstrate transparency, accountability, and a commitment to the well-being of all dogs.

Together, let’s make a positive difference in the lives of shelter dogs. Together, we can work towards a future where every dog has a loving and forever home.

Overview:

As a private foundation, the mission of The Trakxx Foundation is to provide grant opportunities to organizations involved in ongoing activities promoting the humane treatment of animals. Organizations may accomplish this through the prevention of neglect, suffering, abuse, and cruelty.

These activities include but are not limited to; rescue, fostering, adoption, spay, neutering, and humane education. As a smaller foundation, much consideration will be given to local community projects.

It is our hope to make a difference for the animals that offer us companionship,  loyalty, and unconditional love.

Grants & Advocacy

The Trakxx Foundation partners with and provides grants to select nonprofit organizations across greater Arizona and the United States whose guiding principles align with our fundamental goals. We strive to work with dynamic and proactive groups who can deliver successful programs that:

  • Benefit as many animals as possible.
  • Maximize awareness, education, and efficiency.
  • Produce measurable results.
  • Promote positive change.

These organizations help support our mission by offering free or subsidized spay and neuter clinics, adoption, rescue, foster and transport services, obedience training and pet care education. They are directly involved in the fight against the inhumane treatment of animals.

Collectively, we promote the adoption of companion pets from local shelters and discourage the purchase of pets from pet stores that obtain animals from commercial puppy factories known as “puppy mills.”

We are fierce advocates of a compassion revolution — a collective effort by animal advocates across our country to work together to end animal overpopulation and cruelty.
