Raising awareness about pet cancer and supporting research, prevention, and treatment is a cause that is near and dear to us here at The Trakxx Foundation. We find it to be a compassionate and important endeavor that we believe in supporting however we best can. We partner with veterinary clinics, animal welfare organizations, and cancer research institutions to ensure our efforts have a meaningful impact. Throughout the year, we support:

  1. Pet Cancer Research Grants:
    • We have established a grant program to fund pet cancer research projects. We encourage researchers to apply for grants to advance our understanding of the disease.
  2. Online Pet Cancer Resources:
    • We dedicate a page on our website to share resources, articles, and information on pet cancer prevention, symptoms, and treatment. We also support informative workshops or webinars with veterinarians and experts to educate pet owners about the early signs of cancer in pets, prevention strategies, and available treatments.
  3. Social Media Campaigns:
    • We launch social media (Facebook) awareness campaigns to share information, stories, and statistics about pet cancer. We also attempt to organize free or low-cost pet cancer screening clinics, making it easier for pet owners to get their animals checked for early signs of cancer. We encourage followers to share their experiences.
  4. Veterinary Clinics Outreach:
    • We partner with veterinary clinics to distribute informative brochures, host awareness events, or offer discounts on cancer screenings during a designated period. We attempt to organize free or low-cost pet cancer screening clinics, making it easier for pet owners to get their animals checked for early signs of cancer. We collaborate with local animal hospitals to offer educational sessions about pet cancer, the importance of regular check-ups, and treatment options.
  5. Pet Cancer Support Groups:
    • We plan to soon create support groups for pet owners whose animals are currently battling cancer, have survived it, or who have suffered a loss to pet cancer. Sharing experiences and coping strategies can provide emotional support. We collect and share stories of pets that have battled and overcome. These stories can offer hope and inspiration to pet owners and create a sense of community.
